Dear Senator/Congressman _______:

I live in ___________ (City), ___________ County, ____________ (State), and own a home there. Like many of my neighbors, it is a constant struggle each month to pay my mortgage. Interest continues to go up and housing values are declining.

More than ever, we need the “Helping Families Save Their Homes in Bankruptcy Act of 2009.” This pending legislation it will allow unbiased Bankruptcy Judges to help fashion a restructure mortgages on family homes. It will allow a new payment amount, based on the economic conditions of today, that will be fair to both the lender and to the homeowner.

Please vote for this bill and do whatever you can to hasten its passage. The time is now. Thousands of homeowners are losing their homes to foreclosure every day. Please help!
